Cedric and I grew up together in church and I was very happy when he asked me to take his engagement pictures. This was such a perfect July day! It was maybe 78 degrees at 7 on a Saturday afternoon downtown at the Lincoln Memorial. I love taking their picture but I loved the weather that day too!

Cedric and Janae will be getting married in Texas next month. Congratulations to the both of you!!!

Katrina and I went to the same high school. I think she is about 2 year younger than I am. Anyway, we reconnected through Facebook (like everybody else in the world) which was great for both of us because we were pregnant at the same time! It is so nice to have other pregnant women to complain too! LOL Needless to say we had some great conversations over our last trimester together. Katrina looked awesome pregnant and I had a great time taking her pictures. I have photographed her baby girl Taylor and will be posting those soon!

I love it when I meet my clients and you instantly fall in love with them and pretty much their entire families! I took this couples engagement pictures while I was big, pregnant, and at that point miserable! I have to say the made my day. These two are such an energetic fun couple. I was so happy when they asked me to photograph their wedding too! I will be posting those pictures soon!

My husband and I met this newly married couple in our Bradley Birth Class last winter. She was so beautiful pregnant I begged her to let me take her maternity pictures! Her baby Kyle was born in mid-April, so now my son has one of his first friends!

Sherese is great lady that works the birth center where I got my prenatal care and labored with my son. Over the course of my pregnancy we became friends. After I had James, she told me that she was planning on cutting her locs, that she has been growing for 7 years now, and wanted to have a photo shoot before she did the Big Chop! She is an absolutely beautiful woman and looks great with and without her locs. As soon as we can get out schedules coordinated, we will be doing another shoot with her sassy new do!

Adam and Sonora are a great young couple that I met through a mutual friend. I photographed their wedding about 2 years ago and in June I got to take pictures of their sweet baby girl Sydney Ann. Today we made a quick trip to the National Aboretum in Washington, DC to do their first family photos!

The past year and a half has been a complete whirlwind! I got married to my wonderful husband in April 2008 and gave birth to the a perfect baby boy in March 2009. I am FINALLY getting a chance to sit down and start my photography blog.

I will be using this blog so that way all of my clients and friend can keep up with , not only my photo shoots but me and my family!
